Day 2

Saturday June 16 2012

Today I woke up at around 4am for the plane flight to Zanzibar. It was too early for the breakfast so we went straight to the car. After about 20 minutes we arrived at the airport with not 1 not 2 but, three securities, one when you get in, another after you put your luggage on the plane, And the last when you enter your gate. After going thru the traitorous three securities, the luggage, and immigration it got pretty boring. So luckily our plane was called and we got to go to Zanzibar!!!!! After the hour and a half plane to Zanzibar we were there the palm trees, the beautiful beaches, and the broken down shacks. We went to our taxi and made our way to the hotel. The things I saw when we on that ride was incredible I can realize now how lucky I am with a nice home and good clothes. When we made it to the hotel the hotel was amazing the pool was huge, the beach was crystal blue, and the house was like a royal palace. When we were all settled in we went to the restaurant/bar and had dinner I had something called fish fingers my brother and Tyler each had pizza. I made a mistake I should have gotten the pizza the thin crust and the light cheese was delicious I ended up eating about 7 pieces of pizza. We had an unusual night going to bed at 7pm that night but we got a good night sleep considering that we got up at about 4am this was a nice sleep.

(P.S.)  If you ever go to Africa shut your door at around 12 so and put your mosquito net down because stuff gets in including mosquitoes.
